Venezuelan Tres Leches
This famous dessert consists of a basic sponge base cake, soaked in a mixture of three different types of milk (henge the name) and covered in meringue. Oh! The Venezuelan touch is adding rum to the three milks mixture, but is optional.

Venezuelan Polvorosas
Polvorosas are super simple cookies that date back to the colonial era in Venezuela. The name makes reference to their crumbly consistency. Polvorosas comes from the world “polvo” which means dust. These cookies are so crumbly that they melt in your mouth as they also make a mess around you when you are eating them.
